Tweak the Dock settings in ubuntu 12.04

Then now you have CCSM for it.

For installation:

Open terminal with Ctrl + Alt + T

And run this command for install (Compiz Config Settings manager):

sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager

Once it completed then open it and start it for your own configuration.
